Lerryn and St.Winnow gallery by Simon Mitchell

Lerryn is perched on a tributary to the River Fowey near Lostwithiel. The river is tidal in both Lostwithiel and Lerryn, so reaching Lerryn by boat from Lostwithiel can be a bit rushed sometimes.

Fortunately it is possible to walk from the edge of Lostwithiel, through St.Winnow and along the river through the Great Woods, getting to Lerryn without having to see, or even hear a car.
